Who Are We?
The Goodman Consulting Group (GCG) is the GCA’s pro-bono consulting services initiative. This initiative is designed to allow Goodman students to obtain hands-on consulting experience while helping an organization. The goal of this group is to solve some of the most pressing business issues faced by clients by using fresh approaches with the support of the Goodman Consulting Association and members of the Goodman faculty. The group seeks to work with companies looking for a fresh perspective on their business operations. Their goal is to help clients by analyzing business processes, making recommendations according to their needs, and presenting resources to solve their business problems.

GCG Partner (2020-2021): GenaflexI am incredibly pleased with our experience working with the Goodman Consulting Association. The team was professional and quickly able to understand the complex nature of our industry, tax and estate planning solutions for high net worth individuals. The team was able to formulate and execute on a concise plan to help our team improve messaging to our key stakeholders with the objective of building stronger relationships to drive high quality referrals. The project included collecting real world data from a number of potential referral sources to help us understand the existing knowledge base and interest in building these products into their |
practices. In fact, this project resulted in 5 immediate, high quality, leads that we have since pursued following the completion of the project.
We would higher recommend the Goodman Consulting Association to any business owner looking to get an unbiased and data-backed opinion of how they can improve their strategy or operations. As we continue to grow, we would certainly look to hire the team again in the future.

GCG Partner (2021-2022): Prognostiq
Working with the GCA was an excellent experience for our Prognostiq team, one we're glad we didn't miss!
The GCA provided valuable first-hand market research that laid the ground for our entry points to the complex healthcare software market.
We worked with the GCA over four months, meeting regularly so to provide input and guidance to the GCA on our needs, and to allow our expertise inform their research. Ultimately we were provided with a thorough market research report and group presentation that we continue to reference internally today.

Mark Parker: GCG Faculty AdvisorSeveral years ago, I was delighted and honoured to be asked to serve as a faculty advisor for the Goodman Consulting Group. It has been a tremendous pleasure and experience to work with such diligent young adults. As part of this tenure, I was able to secure three clients with which the students engaged. My observations from frequent consultation with them was positive. First, regular assessments showed a consistent fulfilment of planned tasks, that in the beginning were well articulated. Second, the quality of work was commendable, especially in lieu of their competing academic requirements. Indeed, positive feedback from the clients endorsed their |
efforts as valuable in guiding their business decisions. Third, the maturity and professionalism of the students was especially engrossing.
As a faculty member, it is encouraging to see the Goodman School of Business having enrolled such capable, enthusiastic and delightful students. I will always be pleased to offer my continued assistance to this group who serve as excellent stewards not only for the business school, but Brock University as well.
