Established in 2020
The Goodman Consulting Association was founded in 2020 by Joseph Fadare and Joel Punnoose. We are excited to help students pursue a career in consulting during these unprecedented times.
After seeing Brock University’s concentration declarations within the different business fields (ie. Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, Management, and Human Resources), the founders noticed a lack of education and support surrounding consulting at Brock and the Goodman School of Business. Other Canadian universities that emphasize education about consulting (ie. Queen’s University, Western University, and the University of Toronto) acquired the reputation of being ‘target schools’ for large consulting firms. The iteration of students from target schools being recruited at consulting firms further left Brock and Goodman students behind on consulting knowledge. On a go-forward basis, the Goodman Consulting Association aims to change this narrative and help students become familiar with consulting and pursue a career in consulting.

The MissionTo establish the Goodman Consulting Association’s position as a club within The Goodman School of Business, referred to as Goodman, by bringing the world of consulting to Goodman students through events, workshops, competitions and more, to help them become familiar and aware of the endless opportunities within consulting. |
The VisionTo further the reputation of the Goodman School of Business, the Goodman Consulting Association should establish both internal and external long-term relationships for Goodman students to have an advantage within the consulting industry. As a result of relationship building, the Goodman Consulting Association will be a leading club within the Business Student Association. |
